Looks and works fine, Jules. A minor redraw issue when one resize the Tab control to less width, so the arrows for selecting tab turns up - the part under the arrows becomes white. A bit strange - never seen that happen before.

BTW, a small tip regarding the (very valuable - I use it everywhere now) tip you gave us regarding DwmSetWindowAttribute - if one change the pvAttribute from ANY to DWORD in the declare, one can use Equate directly in the call without having to declare a separet variable and cbAttribute is always 4 (sizeof(dword).

Code:
' declare
DECLARE FUNCTION DwmSetWindowAttribute LIB "dwmapi.dll" ALIAS "DwmSetWindowAttribute" _
(BYVAL hWnd AS DWORD,BYVAL dwAttribute AS DWORD, _
BYREF pvAttribute AS DWORD, BYVAL cbAttribute AS DWORD) AS LONG
%DWMWA_NCRENDERING_POLICY = 2 '-Set, who should draw the frame
%DWMNCRP_DISABLED = 1 '-DWM does not draw the frame gives the legacy look
%DWMNCRP_ENABLED = 2 '-DWM draws the modern frame
'------------------------------------------------------------
' in code
DwmSetWindowAttribute hDlg, %DWMWA_NCRENDERING_POLICY, %DWMNCRP_DISABLED, 4
