Next Gen Visual Designer front end -testing
#9
Made some more progress today, it was on the back burner for a bit, give this updated binary a try. I tried to make it as intuitive as possible to use, no help file.  I changed the front end to work the same way as Börje screen shot. I don't have good bitmap images, I'm still using my old ones and the system for now as place holders. I don't have any dpi scaling code yet either, I want to get past the dms engine control first.  I'm going to park this update a bit, and start working on the properties dialog, I have an SDK plain C control I've been wanting to flip to PB for a long time.

It will create an ini file on first run, a temp avi file every run, when saving a project it will create project folders.

A little later... sorry, my apologies - I attached the wrong file, this one includes the tab control. You can drop or move controls on and off the tab control pages (default is 3 tabs for now).  To allow Group selection on the tab pages I had to avoid selecting the tab control itself,  if you want to select the tab control, you need to click on the top tab buttons RECT area or one of the four edges to activate the grab handles.  Also, a double click on the control allows the properties dialog place holder to activate.

Attachment updated and moved to post#13 (October 25th, 2026)
