RE: The Future - John Strasser - 06.09.2025 Oh I agree with Stuart. I've just become more paranoid as I grow older RE: The Future - Colin Schmidt - 10.09.2025 Hi everyone, First of all, thank you, very much, to our host, PUMP has been waiting a long time to fill this vital meeting point role, thank you Albert! I'm happy to be part of any such committee and support a path forward in any way needed and agreeable to the majority of such a committee. There are lots of options, but I think we should agree on the committee structure first and then let the committee members run with it As I don't see anyone putting up their hand to organize a first meeting, I'll suggest we try for an initial Zoom meeting early next week for anyone who wants to contribute in any way. Here is a Doodle poll to help find a time: https://doodle.com/group-poll/participate/ejJv235e If anyone else wants to take the lead, or already has and I'm just out of the loop, I'm happy to follow Thank you RE: The Future - Stuart McLachlan - 10.09.2025 (10.09.2025, 09:53 AM)Colin Schmidt Wrote: As I don't see anyone putting up their hand to organize a first meeting, I'll suggest we try for an initial Zoom meeting early next week for anyone who wants to contribute in any way. The proposed times may be fine for someone in BC (morning, normal business hours) but possibly not so convenient for others in different parts of the world. Personally , I'd prefer something other than 02:00 to 06:00 PNG time. ![]() RE: The Future - Colin Schmidt - 10.09.2025 Ok, I've added some more times. Was concerned that the answers would get too spread out, but we shall see! :) RE: The Future - Colin Schmidt - 13.09.2025 Hi everyone, we have a clear winner on the day / time: Monday, Sep 15th, at 4:00pm Pacific time Here is a one-time Zoom meeting for this event. Join the Zoom meeting? RE: The Future - George Bleck - 16.09.2025 I'd like to thank the members that were able to attend, especially Colin for giving the "car a push" to get this going. It was really fantastic for me to finally face-to-face (virtually) PowerBASIC's icons. RE: The Future - Colin Schmidt - 16.09.2025 Thank you George, and everyone who attended the first meeting. Agreed! It was great to connect virtually face-to-face Those who attended are currently reviewing the meeting minutes, which we will post here a bit later this week We plan to organize a second meeting early next week, with a priority on time slots that can accommodate EU time for this one |
